Participe, aux côtés de l'ANTS et de Cassidian au projet européen STORK 2.0. Ce projet fait suite au projet STORK dont l'objectif est d'établir une plate-forme d'interopérabilité des eServices gouvernementaux au niveau européen www.eid-stork.eu

La loi sur la protection de l’Identité a été promulguée le 28 mars 2012 par le Président de la République, après examen par le Conseil Constitutionnel qui a annulé les articles relatifs à la base de données biométriques et à la puce e-Services.

Ainsi définie, la CNI sera un document d’identité compatible avec le passeport électronique qu’il sera extrêmement difficile de contrefaire. Les industriels sont prêts, le décret nécessaire au déploiement est attendu. Le permis de conduire devrait, lui aussi, être équipé d’une puce sans contact et conforme à la Directive Européenne.

Suite à la suppression de la puce e-Service, les industriels du GIXEL appellent de leurs voeux un projet national de sécurisation de l’identité numérique pour le citoyen, à l’instar de la plupart des pays européens.

With ACN, the French labs and the PACKAGE company, is active in the organization of the « International Common Criteria Conferences » that will be held in Paris from September 18th to 20th, under the patronage of ANSSI. Participates with ANTS and Cassidian to the STORK 2.0 European project. This project is a continuation of STORK 1.0 which aims to set up an interoperability platform for governmental eServices across European Union. www.eid-stork.eu

The law on Identity Protection has been made official by the French Presidency after the examination by the Constitutional Council that canceled the clauses relative to the biometric database and the eService chip.

Thus defined, the National ID card will be very secured and very difficult to forge and compatible with the ePassport. The industry is ready, so the government decree is awaited. Similarly, the driving license document would embed a contactless chip in compliance with the European Directive.

Following the cancellation of the eService chip, GIXEL smart card members incite the government to launch a national project for a secure digital identity protecting the citizen, like other EU Member States have done.
